A downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Turn screenshots into editable text in seconds.
What you get for free (fully local, no login, no data leaves your PC):
- 3+ powerful OCR engines (Tesseract + PaddleOCR + Native Windows/macOS)
- ~30-120 MB app-size depending on version and platform
- Pandoc document converter (Markdown ↔ HTML ↔ DOCX ↔ PDF etc.)
- Offline translation (Argos Translate)
- OCR History (locally persisted)
Cloud (€0.002–0.004 per page):
- Image/PDF Math extraction via LaTeX + clean Markdown for tables etc.
Some features (Tesseract, Pandoc, Argos Translate) auto-detect system executables.
If not found, just point to them once in Settings – takes 5 seconds.

NOTE: I don't have an Apple developer subscription: To install on iOS: You must sideload the .ipa file using AltStore, SideStore, or Sideloadly (requires a PC/Mac). This allows you to install it using your own free Apple ID. App expires after 7 days and needs re-signing. You're limited to 3 active sideloaded apps per Apple ID at a time (workarounds exist, like using multiple IDs, but they're not official).
